Once again the city of Seattle and its rumberos embarked on another musical adventure, this time when the Kings of Bachata, Grupo Aventura arrived to town.

With a concert filled with light-shows, music and fantasy, Grupo Aventura delighted their fans in the Emerald City. This passed May 29th was a long awaited evening, that turned out to be a great night for all Latin Music fans present. Seattle, little by little, is becoming a must stop for great salsa artists, that just like Grupo Aventura, come to present their talent with great shows.

After so many rumors in the past couple of years, Grupo Aventura finally arrived to Seattle. Equipped with their hits, these “Embassadors of Bachata” lit up the night and rose the temperature with their gallantry. We’re referring specifically to all the female fans present, since they comprised the majority of the audience, and they were the ones that enthusiastically participated during the whole concert, making it truly an adventurous night!

The Paramount Theater was the ideal stage for the presentation of this band that continues to be acclaimed by thousands of fans wherever they perform. It was an evening to enjoy Bachata with a romantic touch that only Grupo Aventura knows how.  “Solo por un beso”, “La Boda”, “Romeo & Julieta”, “Eso no es amor” and “Los Infieles” were some of the songs with which the public would sing along, as most stood on their feet from the onset of the concert.

There were great moments throughout the night, many singing, some at the foot of the stage following the every move of the performers, and on all sides a real party as many wasted no time in turning the hallways into improvised dance floors.

This event was produced by Alou Entertaintment and  Salsarengue Promotions, who have shown professionalism in all their events as they continue to bring high caliber artists to Seattle. Nevertheless, we feel that when an international artist comes to town, a press conference should be organized. This would favor the local reception as well as facilitate a more comprehensive promotion of the event.

In the end, the Grupo Aventura concert was a success, achieving a near full house. An auditorium that hosted celebrities, an enormous crowd of rumberos as well as several Seattle Mariners baseball players, who just like the clear majority of the audience, were there to enjoy the concert given by the "Kings of Bachata"
